William Charles McKisson, age 85, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. He was born June 8, 1923 in Elyria, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. William had worked at Ridge Tool in Elyria having retired after 38 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason member in Wellington, the Wellington Eastern Star and the V.F.W. William enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Frances (Yonik) McKisson; his daughter, Darlene Super of Naperville, Ill., his stepson., Rick Mechling of New London; his stepmother, Pauline McKisson of Wellington; his aunt, Frances Hewitt of Medina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason V. and Lillian (Kane) Hart; his brothers, Dean McKisson and Darl Hart. There will be no services.
