William E. Richardson, age 84, of Nova, Ohio died May 12, 2008 at Medina General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born February 23, 1924 in Florence, Alabama to the late Henry E. and Lucille (Vaughn) Richardson. He had moved to Cleveland in 1952 later settling into Nova, Ohio in 1981.
William had worked for Glidden Paint Company for 23 years then Carnegie Body both of Cleveland where he had retired in 1989. He was a Deacon of the Harmony Baptist Church in Cleveland and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Ashland, Ohio. He was a good family man who lived for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Christine (Phillips) Richardson; 4 daughters; Faye (Dave) Middleton of Westfield, Ohio, Mitzi Richardson of Nova, Donna (Gerald) Babcock of Nova, Denise (Robert) Stacho of Vermilion, Ohio; 4 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; Martha Cody of Florence, Alabama, Frances Fowler of Pensacola, Florida, 4 brothers; Mason Richardson, Jack Richardson, Thomas Richardson, and Larry Richardson all of Florence, Alabama. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers; Joe Richardson, George A. Richardson and Ed Richardson.
