William H. 'Willy' Wilson, Sr., age 58, of Norwalk, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk after a lengthy illness. He was born July 3, 1951 in New London, son of the late Harold and Charlotte Wilson. He had been a lifelong resident of the New London, Fitchville and Norwalk areas. William was a 1970 graduate of New London High School. He had been a mason for many years. William enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Rose (Adams) Wilson of Portsmouth, Ohio; his children, Annette (Brad) Nelson of Greenwich, Janice (Virgil) Michowka, William Wilson, Jr., Carol Wilson all of Norwalk, Charlotte Wilson of Lynx, Ohio and Amy Wilson of Centerburg, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; his siblings, Barbara Urich, Ella Krisha, Rosalie Stefano, Fred Wilson, Robert Wilson, Charlene Yates all of New London, Thomas Wilson of Michigan, Jeanine St. Clair of Chandlersville, Ohio, Kenneth Wilson of Amherst, Katherine Wilson of Huron; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittany Macky. Friends may call from 12:00 until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London. Burial will follow at Fitchville Cemetery.
