Willy G. Evans, 54, of Nova, OH died on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.  Willy was known by most as "Bones", a nick name he's had for years.  Willy was born on May 4, 1969 in Elyria, OH.  He was the son of the late Harry "Hambone" and Erna "Nellie" (nee' Schmidt) Evans.

Willy was a 1987 graduate of Mapleton High School where he attended the Ashland County West Homes JVS.  He was a member of the automotive class.  Willy worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation, retiring in 2020 after 33 ½ years of dedicated service.  He was a member of the New London Eagles and the Sons of the American Legion in New London.  Willy enjoyed working on vehicles, hunting, fishing and camping.  He took great pride in doing yard work and enjoyed being outdoors.

Willy is survived by his soul mate and the best thing that ever happened to him, the love of his life, Andrea Young, of Nova.  Willy was preceded in death by his parents.
