Obituary

Wilma B. Motter, age 91, of Sharonville, Ohio, and formerly of Elyria, died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Cottingham Retirement Community. She was born July 21, 1918 in Rochester, Ohio, daughter of the late Truman and Mary (Schultz) Campbell. Wilma was 1936 graduate of Troy Centralized High School. She had lived in Nova, New London, Wellington and most of her life in Elyria. She lived at the former I.H.S. Nursing Home of New London from 1993 until she moved to Sharonville in 2005. Wilma had been a church secretary in Elyria for many years. She was an organist and enjoyed crafts. She is survived by 2 nephews, Randall (Karen) Cottrell of West Chester, Ohio and Ronald (Blanche) Cottrell of San Antonio, Texas; 5 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harley Motter, in 1989 and by her sister, Edith Cottrell in 2008. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington with Rev. Lea Mahan of the Wellington First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
