Obituary

Norton - Eastman Funeral Home 440-647-3132 Wonda L. Sheffield, age 80 of Wellington, died Friday, March 22, 2013 at New Life Hospice, Lorain after a lengthy illness. She was born September 14, 1932 in Estill, Kentucky, daughter of the late Samuel and Ida Mae (nee Owsley) Terry. She moved to the Wellington area in 1939. Wonda attended Wellington schools. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church, Wellington, a former member of the Rebecca Lodge, a member of the Eagles Women's Auxiliary, and a life member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She loved to bowl and was a member of the Wellington Bowling League. Wonda was a homemaker and loved holiday gatherings. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul R. Sheffield; her children, Marsa (David) Skinner, Paula (Jimmy) Terry and Debbie Sheffield all of Wellington, Robert (Diane) Sheffield of Celina; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bennie Terry, Vern Terry, Minnie Terry, and infant brother, Bert Terry. Friends may call from 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Free Will Baptist Church, 205 Woodland St., Wellington where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastors Roger Rice and Ed Kennedy officiating.
