Yvonne (Case) Yoder Dearth, 70, was called to her heavenly home on January 2, 2010. She was born March 20, 1939, in Honaker, Kentucky, to Okie and Inez Hall Case. She married William Yoder on July 17, 1958 in Millersburg, Ohio. They divorced in 1977. She married Daniel L. Dearth on Jan. 1, 1985 in Roosevelt, Utah. Prior to moving to Utah in 1981, she spent most of her life in New London. Yvonne worked as a telephone operator, seamstress, welder, waitress, foster mother, dispatcher, quality control inspector and cook. She loved baking and making goodies to give to her family and friends during the holidays and throughout the year. She was a selfless person who always put others first. She is survived by her husband, Dan; mother Inez Case Gasser, sister Ernestine Cole, of Waco, Texas; children, Bernie (Cindy) Yoder, Milan, Ohio, Debra (Alex) Robert, Payson, UT, Beth (Dan) Norman, Hillsboro, Oregon, Jenneida (Frank) Kriews, Norwalk, Ohio, Annette (Robert) Pullin and Amber Yoder, of Roosevelt, UT; 13 grandchildren: Christina (James) Montgomery, Derek (Ruthie) Yoder, Casey (Amanda) Shenberger, Korry Hullinger, Lance Hullinger, Mariah Yoder, Danielle Perry, Lora Pullin, Andrew Pullin, Joshua Serawop, Brendan Serawop, Aiden Yoder, and Amaya Yoder; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; step-children: Lee, Lynn, and Greg Dearth, and Shannon Hayes.; 9 step-grandchildren and 5 foster children. Her father, Okie Case; grandmother, Nora E. Hall; grandfather Jack Case and nephew Ty Smith preceded Yvonne in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010, at Eastman Funeral Home. Viewing hours are on Sunday, January 10 from 3-6 p.m. and Monday, Jan.11 from 10-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park, Ashland.
