Yvonne Marie (Saylor) Slone, entered into eternal peaceful rest on January 8, 2025, after struggling with health issues. She was born on December 25, 1966, at the Providence Hospital in Sandusky Ohio to George and Ruth Saylor.  Yvonne was a loving Mother to her two children, Jennifer Lynn (Saylor) Twinam of Lucasville Ohio and Ryan Joseph Meyers of New Orleans Louisiana, who survive.

Yvonne was very proud of her children and was always talking about them to her friends. She was married to Darrell Slone of Greenwich for over 20 years, and he held a special place in her heart and they remained close up until her final days. He was a wonderful father to her two children, Jennifer and Ryan and was a wonderful husband. She is also survived by her granddaughters; Emily Twinam of Lucasville, OH, Lilyan and Alexandria Meyers of Monroeville OH, and her grandson, Tyler Twinam of Lucasville OH, she loved and cherished her grandchildren and often bragged about them every chance she could.  Yvonne was very proud and loving of her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends, Bethany and Lee Wyatt of New London.  She frequently talked about how much she enjoyed their company and cherished their friendship.

Yvonne grew up in Castalia, OH and was the youngest of her 5 brothers: Danny Ouellette of Castalia, Jeff Ouellette, John Ouellette of Collins, Ron Saylor and David Ouellette. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ruth Saylor.

We love you mom, and we will never forget you, Love Ryan and Jennifer.
