Alan Harding (51) of Bucyrus went to be with our Lord and Savior, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Avita Galion Hospital, his death was sudden and unexpected. He was born March 29, 1969 in Mansfield, Ohio. Alan worked over the years at Modern Builders Supply in Mansfield and Norwalk, Bucyrus Precision Tech and most recently Timken. He was a member of the Scioto United Methodist Church where he loved to go to church and play on the church dartball team. Alan loved fishing and hunting but his true passion was spending time with his wife, children, and his grandchildren and was always up for day trips to Amish country or the lake.
Alan is survived by his wife of 19 years: Diane (McMichael) Harding, father: John Harding of Mansfield, children: Kylie Osborne of Ann Arbor, MI, Michael (Jayla Furr) Osborne of Galion, Adam (Emily) Harding of Ashland, Chase Osborne of Bucyrus and Meghan (Corey Laub) Harding of Bucyrus, 7 grandchildren: Aubree, Zanden, Trenden, Zayne, Ian, Leo Alan and Elena with one more on the way. 2 Brothers: Richard (Cindy) Harding and their children: Mallorie, Jacob and Trevor of Ashland and Bradley Harding of Mifflin; father and mother-in-law: John and Joan McMichael of Bucyrus, brother and sister-in-law: Brian and Cathy Clary and their children: Lauren and Mitchell of Lewis Center. He was preceded in death by his mother: Dixie (Haynes) Harding and infant brother: John Samuel Harding.
Friends may call from 5-6 PM Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Scioto United Methodist Church, 5196 St. Rt. 4 North, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 with a Celebration of Life service starting at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor David Smithey presiding. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family through the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London, Ohio 44851.
