Albert Lee Burton, Sr.

Albert Lee Burton Sr, 53, of Plymouth, died Friday, June 25, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Born on August 5, 1967 in Shelby, he was the son of the late William and Jerline (née Howard) Burton Sr. Albert grew up in the Plymouth and Shiloh area and attended Plymouth High School. 

Albert worked as a crane operator and in construction for multiple companies in the area. He was a devoted member of the Shiloh Pentecostal Church of God where he enjoyed singing and playing music on the guitar and mandolin. Albert also enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Most of all he cherished time spent with his kids. 

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Melody (née Brown); children Albert (Kylie) Burton Jr, of Shelby, Cody Burton, and Leah Clark, both of Plymouth; grandchildren Kyle, Caleb, and Lilly; adopted grandchildren Zachary “Tater” and Liam; siblings, Ron (Deb) Burton, Christine (Timmy) Lee, William (Mary) Burton, and Brother-in-law, James Reese. Albert was preceded in death by his siblings Rhonda Reese, and Jessie Burton, and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Brown. 

Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 2, at the Shiloh Pentecostal Church of God, 117 Baseline Rd, Greenwich, 44837, from 10 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 12 p.m. Those attending are invited to stay for a luncheon immediately following the service.  At the conclusion of the luncheon, burial will follow at Mansfield City Cemetery; 389 Altamonta Ave, Mansfield, Ohio, 44902.  If desired, memorial donations may be directed to the family, in care of Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W.
