B. Haines Obituary
B. Thomas Haines, 83, of Ruggles, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 after a short illness. He was born June 21, 1931 in Akron, son of the late Bernard and Vida (McKay) Haines. Tom lived some childhood years in California. He then moved to Ruggles as a teenager, where he resided the rest of his life.
Tom was a member of the Ruggles Church. He enjoyed bird watching, fishing and reading. Tom had a deep love for history, chocolate and his beloved dog, Cheerio. He also enjoyed telling stories and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his caretakers, Tom and Judy (Weitzel) Milton of 27 years and their children, Jennifer (Marty) Wesner, Mark (Jenny) McQuate, Tom (Shari) McQuate of Ashland and Victoria (Leon) Perkins of New London; as well as their 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Sunday, September 14th at Ruggles Cemetery with Pastor Marty Daly of the Ruggles Church officiating. Condolences may be expressed online at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
