Barbara Perry Obituary

Barbara L. Perry, 70, of Monroeville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 in Fisher Titus Medical Center. She was born to the late Bernard and Thelma (Durling) Rice on October 3, 1949 in Willard, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from South Central High School and had worked for Hamilton Beach, The Hen House, Fanny Farmers, and for Mansfield Schools.  Barb enjoyed playing cards, cooking, quilting, and crafting, which included making her own greeting cards and putting together floral arrangements. She also enjoyed traveling with her family to Maine and Florida and supported her children and grandchildren in all their events, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Barb is survived by her loving husband of 27 ½ years, Norbert A. Perry of Monroeville, Ohio, by her children, Kenneth Hammersmith (Stephania Bridges) of Monroeville, Ohio, Danielle (Daniel) McGlothlin of Vermilion, Ohio, Jeffrey Perry of Norwalk, Ohio, Kristina (David) Whapham of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michelle (Rob) Shean of Norwalk, Ohio and Daniel Perry (Rosalinda Alejandro) of Fremont, Ohio, and by 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia (John) Woodruff of Norwalk, Ohio, Deborah (Larry) Smith of Mansfield, Ohio, and Pamela (Daniel) Hite of Milan, Ohio, and by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Rice.

At Barb’s request, there will be no visitation and no service.  Walker-Eastman-Heydinger is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s favorite charity, and online condolences may be made by going www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com.
