Brenda Jean Perry

Brenda Jean Perry, 68, of Norwalk, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 8, 1952 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Thelma (Jones) Egner and the late Henry Alexander. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1971.

A devoted Christian servant, Brenda attended Calvary Baptist Church in Norwalk for over 60 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She always had a smile on her face, a contagious laugh, joyful heart and a lending ear. Brenda enjoyed playing and watching sports and traveling with her husband Chuck. Her greatest joy and hobby; was spending time with her children, eleven grandchildren, family and friends. She worked for Norwalk Furniture and retired from Fisher-Titus after several years of service.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 48 years, Jay Perry III (Chuck); their children, Julie (Brian) Koelsch of Norwalk, Jay (Jennifer) Perry IV of Milan and Jonathan (Allison) Perry of Gillette, Wyoming; grandchildren, Gavin, Corbin, Isabella, Jay , Luke, Emma, Quinn, Bo, Ezekiel, Ava and Jude; Mother Thelma Egner; siblings, Tom (Betty) Alexander, Henry (Jean) Alexander, Jan (Willie) Reamer and Dwight (Carol) Alexander all of Norwalk, and Danny (Ranae) Alexander of Sandusky. And, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry and nephew Jason Alexander.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 28th, 2020 beginning at 10:30am at Calvary Baptist Church, 250 Benedict Ave., Norwalk.
