Obituary

Brian Smith, 59, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Fisher Titus Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.  He was born April 9, 1964, in Willard to the late Patricia (Hoose) and Roy J. Smith.  Brian was a graduate of South Central High School, Class of 1982 and was employed at Midwest Industries/Stanley.  He enjoyed computer coding, watching the Cleveland Browns or really any team but Pittsburg, but spending time with his family especially the grandchildren he cherished most. 

Brian is survived by his wife, Margaret (Biermann) Smith who he married August 12, 1986; 2 daughters, Kristen (Vincent) Goebel of Norwalk, and Rachel (Alex Norris) Smith of Sandusky; 4 grandchildren, Adam Goebel, Becca Herborn, Kenny Norris, and Melody Norris; sister, Jennifer (Charles) Atherton of Greenwich; son-in-law, Matt Jones of Berlin Heights and nieces, Miracle and Aimee Perez.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sara Jones and brother, Kevin Smith.
