Bruce Alan McGee

Bruce Alan McGee, 64, of New London, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on December 17, 1957 in Riverside, CA to the late Beverly (Hartman) and Harley McGee.  

Bruce made a career as a carpenter and was self-employed for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and listening to music. Bruce loved spending time with all the kids in his family, and he reveled in sitting down and having a beer with his family and friends.  

He is survived by his children, Bruce H. McGee, of Quinter, Kansas, Beverly McGee, of Gustavus, Alaska, and Shannon (Levi) Gallegos, of Mesa, Arizona and Jamie Mason of Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren; brother Mike (Diana) McGee, of New London, Ohio and of Aurora, Colorado; nephew, Scott McGee, of New London, Ohio; great-nephew, Cole Fox, of New London, Ohio; and “the beer guy.” 

His family will not hold public services, but they encourage those that love Bruce to remember and honor him in their own way. Bruce will be cremated, and his family is planning a private service to spread his cremated remains.
