Cayla Viola Rose Safko, 18, of Wakeman, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 28, 2017. The daughter of John Bradshaw and Cassandra Safko-West, she was born October 23, 1998 in Fairview. Cayla attended Wellington and Western Reserve Schools. She had played softball, been a cheerleader and ran track. She will be remembered as a loving friend who was always ready to help and who brought fun into others lives. Cayla had an awesome personality and a determined spirit. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Cassandra Safko-West and Kurt West; father, John Bradshaw; siblings, Caitlin Safko, Riley, Kameron and Peyton West; grandparents, Rosemary Schroeder, Edward Sr. and Anne Safko, Brenda Frazier Bradshaw and John and Pam Bradshaw and a nephew, Remington. Cayla was preceded in death by the love of her life, her infant son, Karson Austin Martin. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, where services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 beginning at 11 A.M.
