Charlotte R. (Simons) Sanders

Charlotte R. Sanders, 67, lifelong resident of Greenwich, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Lorain.  She was born on February 7, 1953 in Buckhannon, WV, the daughter of George and Nora B. (Kittle) Simons.

Charlotte was a 1971 graduate of South Central High School.  She owned and operated Charlotte’s Cut and Curl Salon in Greenwich.  Charlotte was a faithful member of the Greenwich Baptist Church.  She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord.  Charlotte loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed being a part of their activities.  She found joy in tending to her flower gardens and enjoyed making crafts. 

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Terry Sanders; her daughter, Sheree (Rick) Whiteside and sons, Shannon Sanders and Sherrod (Anna) Sanders; grandchildren, Brett, Matt, Kendall, Wyatt, Lily, Michael, Eric, Lyla and Boone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nora and George Simons; son, Shawn Sanders and granddaughter, Brynn Leigh Sanders. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery, Townsend Street, Greenwich, with Pastor Gary Adkins officiating.  In accordance with COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing measures will be expected at the graveside.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
