Cynthia Yvonne Sugaski, 73, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2018 at her home in Elyria. She was born on February 8, 1945 in Cleveland to the late Adolph and Edna (nee Taylor) Studabaker.
Cynthia graduated from Wellington High School in 1963. She had lived in Texas for about 13 years, but spent the majority of her life in the Lorain County area. She was very outgoing, loved animals, shopping and Christmastime. Cynthia also enjoyed crafts and quilting, and liked to go for motorcycle rides with her husband Jim.
She is survived by her daughter Wendi (Matt) Johnson; grandsons, Matthew and Jesse Matcham; great granddaughter, Leah Matcham; nieces, Linda (Carl) Threat and Joan (John) Wallis; nephews, Dwight (Mitzi) Studabaker and Joe (Gail) Studabaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jim Sugaski; brother, Merrill Studabaker and sister in-law, Gloria.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Memorials can be directed to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
