David Pamer Klinger, 92, of Medina passed away June 28, 2020 at his home. He was born March 1, 1928 in Shalersville, Ohio. David grew up in Brimfield, Ohio in Portage County on a dairy farm and had lived in Medina for many years. He was a graduate of Kent State University High School. He also attended Akron University Community College for 2 years. David was a member of the National Guard for 5 years.
David had worked at White Motor Co. and Power Brake both of Cleveland, Lawrence & Battles Auto Parts and Midway Auto Parts both of Norwalk, Lojek’s Truck Repair in Richfield, then Klinger and Associates.
David is survived by his loving wife, Mabel Kay (Johannsen) Klinger of Medina; his sons, David (Kim) Klinger and Thomas (Thanh) Klinger all of Florida; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amelia (Vasarhelyi) and Frank Pamer, his adoptive parents, Vendel and Julia Klinger, his siblings, Louis, Dorothy, Henry, Frank and Irma Pamer.
Private graveside services will take place at the Wakeman Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110 or to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3355 Medina Ave., Medina, Ohio 44256.
