Donna Lou Goss

Donna L. Goss, 90, of Brighton Township, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at home and surrounded by her family. Born on December 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Mary (nee Schmitz) Bailey. Donna was a 1947 graduate of Amherst High School.

Donna, along with her husband, formed Energized Substation Service Inc. in 1970. She served as vice president and managed the office, retiring in 1995. Donna was a member of Perfecting of the Saints Tabernacle in Brighton. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. Family was of the utmost importance to Donna, and she cherished having her children and their families over for parties and gatherings.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Goss, of CA, Richard Leland Goss (Sherry), of Ashland, Ronald R. Goss (Rebecca), of CA, and Debbie Kimmich (Ben), of Wellington; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her twin brother Donald (Janet) Bailey, of Grafton. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leland "Chip" Goss, daughters Sherryl Perkins and Lori Goss; son Roger Goss; brothers George and Seth Omer Bailey; and sister Ruth Sipos.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, March 20, from 4-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington. Services will be held on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Rt 58, Wellington, Pastor Robert Bonner and Pastor Mike Goss will officiate, burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery.
