Obituary
Doris A. “Audy” Quayle, 96, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Continuing Care Nursing Home in Milan, Ohio. She was born on March 3, 1927, in Milan, Ohio, to the late Gustav and Lucinda (Smith) Doerner, and graduated from Milan High School in 1945.
Audy enjoyed sewing and had made numerous quilts. She also loved riding her John Deere tractor. She was a volunteer for over 25 years at Stein Hospice (now Hospice of Western Reserve) and had also worked for American Cyanamid of Cleveland. She was a member of Edison Memorial Church.
Survivors include her sisters, June Weilnau and Marian Webb; brother, Robert Doerner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Russell, Lewis, and Donald Doerner; and sisters, Helen Mittower, Dorothy Haag, Marjorie Mittower, Wilma Russ, and Judy Haas.
