Dorothy A. Hendrickson, 95, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Gaymont Nursing Home.

Born in Fulton County Ohio on August 26, 1926.  She was the daughter of the late Howard and Mabel (Bortel) Proudfoot.

She had worked at various businesses through the years as a secretary. Her last employment was at Norwalk Furniture in the advertising department, which she enjoyed most.  Upon retirement she then spent quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Jeff) Moehlman; granddaughters, Amy (Jeff) Obringer, Barb Hendrickson, and Leah (Heshan Fernando) Moehlman; grandsons, Zach Hendrickson, Tyler (Hannah) Moehlman, and Barrett Moehlman; great grandsons, Colin and Quinn Obringer and Noah and Liam Moehlman; great granddaughters, Matigan Obringer and Sophia Kalpakidis; and siblings, Shirley Rhores and Donald (Oneta) Proudfoot.

Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husband of 66 years, John "Jack" N. Hendrickson; sons, John H. Hendrickson and Thomas A. Hendrickson; grandson, John Steven Hendrickson; sisters, Lucille Knisley and Audrey Ewell.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.  Walker Eastman Heydinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
