Earnestine Buell Obituary
Earnestine Buell, 88, of wellington died Friday, December 12, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Lorain. She was born on October 25, 1926 in Wellington to the late Dewey and Frances (nee Oney) Beard. Earnestine was a 1945 Wellington High School graduate.
Earnestine worked for many years at Eastwood Elementary in Oberlin. She was an avid bowler, playing on many leagues, and made her way into the hall of fame in Elyria. Earnestine enjoyed going on camping trips with her husband and family. She was a devoted sports fan as well.
Earnestine is survived by her brother Francis "Pete" Beard, and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Eleanor (Larry) Broome. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Buell in 1999, 3 brothers and 1 sister and her beloved son Wayne "Buster" Buell in 1964.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 16, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington, Rev. Brian Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Penfield Cemetery. in lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Earnestine's memory be made to either the Keystone Jr. High Athletics in honor of Buster, 501 Opportunity Way, LaGrange, Ohio 44050 or to the Wellington Senior Bus, 115 Willard Memorial Square, Wellington, OH 44090.
