Ellen Jane (Fields) (Forquer) Dumbaugh

Ellen Jane (Fields) (Forquer) Dumbaugh, 82, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, died on Sunday, June 20, 2021.  She was born November 16, 1938, in Blaze, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jesse Blair and Mary Deffie (Hoskinson) Sargent.     She had previously lived in Plymouth for many years moving to Mt. Gilead, Ohio in 1988.    Ellen had worked at the Norstat Co. in Norwalk, Ohio for several years.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.      

Ellen is survived by her husband of 32 years, Eugene Dumbaugh;  her children, Timothy L. (Becky) Fields of Utica, Ohio, Karen E. (Keith) Dawson and Sheila S. (Greg) Kennard all of Lexington, Ohio; step-daughter, Charlene Pace of Cardington, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Chanda Goon, Marshall Fields, Amy Dawson, Mason Fields, Tyson Fields, Adam Dawson, Cody Fields, Felicia Dawson, Brittany Kennard, Chad Kennard,  and Cameron Pace;  11 great grandchildren, Avery Goon, Allison Goon, Gabriel Dawson, Naomi Dawson, Isabella Dawson, Millie Fields, Oliver Fields, Stella Fields, Nora Kennard and Libby Fields, Sage Kennard;  her siblings, James Lewis of Shelby, Ohio, Brenda Damron of Martinsville, Ohio, Sharon Roberts of Norwalk, Ohio and Steve Lewis of Willard, Ohio.    Ellen was preceded in death by her first Husband, Charles Fields, her second Husband, Harry Forquer, her son, Kenneth E. Fields, her siblings, Evelyn Rhine, Harold Sargent, Tony Lewis, and Frances Musick; her grandson, Timothy Fields, II.

Family and Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Ripley Church,  4130 S. Edwards Rd., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 with Pastor Eric Robinson officiating.   Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich.  Online condolences may be made at:    www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
