Emil “Bud” F. Flesch Jr., 96, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain. Born in Denver, CO on June 21, 1925, he was the son of the late Katherine (nee Pfitzinger) and Emil Flesch Sr. Before moving to Lorain in 1947, he resided in St. Louis.
Emil proudly served in the US Navy during WW2 in the Pacific. He was a union sheet metal worker, and worked throughout Ohio. Bud was a member of the Knights of Pythias. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, had a passion for animals, and cherished his time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving children, Katherine MacDougall of Lorain, Camille Gullickson of Sheffield Village, Fred Flesch of Vermilion, Tama Day of Sheffield Lake and Vallie Flesch of Sheffield; 7 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Camille Flesch and grandchildren, Lawrence Flesch and James Gullickson.
