Eric Tipple Obituary

Eric J. Tipple, 62, of Greenwich, died on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Fisher Titus Medical Center.  Eric was born on May 30, 1960 in Lapeer, MI, the son of the late Julius E. and Gertrude M. (Berry) Tipple. 

He was a member of the Nova-Ruggles Conservation Club.  Eric was a talented wood worker and a handy man.  He enjoyed hunting for arrow heads and loved to spend time with his little dogs. 

Eric is survived by his children, Natasha Barnett of Willard, Larry Tipple of Greenwich and Amanda (Robert Marthey) Tipple of Glenmont; grandchildren, Paige Barnett, Reese Barnett and Evelyn Marthey; siblings, Mark Tipple of Arizona, Karen (Ken) Duperron of Columbiaville, MI, Daniel Tipple of Hart, MI and David (Brenda) Tipple of West Olive, MI; life-long friend, Allen Waugh of Greenwich.  Eric was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Veronica (Gregory) Tipple whom he married on September 11, 1980.  Veronica preceded him in death on July 9, 2014.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Nova-Ruggles Conservation Club.  The family is finalizing details including the time of the service.  Details will be shared on our funeral home website once available.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to offset funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be shared and memorial donation given, by visiting our website, www.eastmanfuneralhome.com or donations may be mailed to Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, OH 44851.
