Gerald L. Canterbury, 70, of Norwalk, Ohio died on November 15, 2020 at Gaymont Nursing Center in Norwalk. He was born on September 15, 1950 in Lando Mines, West Virginia to the now deceased Ernie E. and Opal (Slone) Canterbury.
Gerald enjoyed bowling, following the Cleveland Browns and NASCAR, and listening to Elvis’s music, or anything that had to do with Elvis. He retired from Grower Chemical Company in Milan, where he was a truck driver for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Monnie (Miller) Canterbury; siblings, Mary Lou Davis, Paul Canterbury and Ernie Canterbury Jr.; stepchildren, John (Sara) Camp and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Alan Camp and brother, Roger Canterbury.
In keeping with Gerald’s wishes he will be cremated. The family is planning a graveside service to be held at a later date.
