Gerald Wayne Kissel

Gerald Wayne Kissel, 79, of Adel, Georgia, died January 7, 2021 at Southwell Health & Rehabilitation Center in Adel, Georgia. 

Jerry was born January 6, 1942, in Willard, Ohio.  Son of the late Elmer and Gertha (Carnahan) Kissel. 

Jerry graduated from the South Central High School, Greenwich, in 1961.  After graduation, he worked at R.R. Donnelly in Willard.  Drove Fuel truck for Kissel Tractor Sales, and farmed part time.  Then moved to Florida and drove truck for K & P Trucking.  He retired in Georgia after a long career in truck driving.

Jerry is survived by his three sons.  Gregory (Elizabeth) Kissel, Trevor Scott (Tereasa) Kissel of Florida, Todd (Michele) Kissel of North Carolina. 

Grandchildren, Samantha Kissel, Chaz Kissel, Damion Kissel, Evan Kissel, Kristopher Kissel, Tyler Kissel, Cricket Whitlock, Jacob Kissel, Christopher Kissel. 

Sister Betty (Tim) Putt, sister-in-law Susie Kissel and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Kissel and grandson Dustin Kissel. 

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private graveside service with interment in Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich will be held.  Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich assisted the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
