Glenn Mason Obituary

Glenn Lee Mason "Pop Pop", 71, of Wellington, died Monday, January 19, 2015. Born in Lodi on May 31, 1943 to the late Lee and Eleanor (nee Marmie) Mason, Glenn was a lifelong Wellington resident.

Glenn worked for Sterling Foundry for several years and retired from Whirlaway in 2007. He was an avid outdoors man enjoying spending time hunting and fishing and working in his yard and gardening. Glenn also cherished time that he spent with his family especially his great grandson Christopher.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Sandra (nee Smedley), his daughter Sheri Sams, of Wellington; grandchildren Casey Jenkins of Wellington and Kevin Sams of Elyria; great grandson Christopher "Bud" Jenkins Jr.; and his brothers Allen and Robert Mason. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Nel Marmie and Carl and Esther Mason, and his sister Eleanor Jane Mason.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 22, 2014 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, from 5 pm until the 7 pm service with Rev. Thomas Keller officiating. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be given online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
