Howard F. Reep

Howard F. Reep, 85, of Norwalk, formerly of Clarksfield, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. Born on March 7, 1929, in Dover, son of the late Howard T. and Bertha (Vaughn) Reep. Howard was raised by his grandmother in Clarksfield where he resided for most of his life and wintered in Florida for many years with his wife. They especially enjoyed crafting and bingo at the club house.

He was a truck driver for FV Parker and Sons in Wakeman and later enjoyed his retirement relaxing on his porch and waving at his fellow truck drives as they passed by.

Howard enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and dancing.

He is survived by wife of 64 years, Jean (Rounds); children, Mary Reep (Donald Brant) of Wakeman, Dan (Anna) Reep of Wakeman, John (Sharon) Reep of Wakeman and Larry (Jan) Reep of Seville; grandchildren, Brenda (Marc) Carruthers, Brandi (Corey) Case, Brian (Stefanie) Reep, Jacob (Junnifer) Reep and Brad (Jamie) Reep; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Lucille Flagg of Florida, Roy Reep of Wellington, Marilyn Delapp of Norwalk, Shirley Osbourne of North Fairfield and Barb Reagan of Norwalk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Cucco.

Visitation 10 am Monday, March 2nd until the time of funeral service at 11 am at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, with Rev. Lorry Mabiala officiating.
