James Bradley Obituary

James "Jim" Earl Bradley passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at his home.  He was born February 18, 1949, in Lackey, KY and was raised in Willard, Ohio.  Jim started his work career on the railroad setting ties, he eventually made his way into the construction field where he retired from Rural Lorain County Water Authority on 10/31/2007.

In his younger years, Jim loved to travel out West, visiting friends and family in New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona. He had many great adventures across the country. He became an avid golfer, enjoying many rounds with his friends at Millstone Hills golf course- always striving for that birdie! He hosted monthly Dealer's Choice poker nights for he and his friends to enjoy. He truly looked forward to their time together. Jim loved gardening, keeping 2 or 3 large gardens at time to share the harvests with anyone that needed fresh produce. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and taking them to try all his favorite restaurants. Music often filled his home, and he loved sharing his favorite songs with anyone that came to visit.  He was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, and all of their accomplishments.

He is lovingly survived by his sister, Ruth; children, Faye (Todd) Sterling, Scott (Tracey) Bradley, Kate (Jimmy) Bradley, and Hannah (Will) Wilson: longtime girlfriend Wendy Daniel, and 9 beautiful grandchildren- Alex, Abby, Addison, Cooper, Mariah, Tristan, Taryn, Indie, and William IV. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Dollie (Castle) Bradley. siblings- Paul, Sam, Eli Jr, Earnest, Marlin, Alfred, Theodore, and Roger.
