James E. Bragg Sr.

James E. Bragg, Sr., died Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his home. James was born on June 19, 1944 in Edmond, WV to the late Frederick and Gladys (nee Day) Bragg.

For 31 years, James worked for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2001. He attended the First Baptist Church of Birmingham and the Brighton Congregational Church.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing, working outdoors and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Linda (nee Fleming), whom he married on August 12, 1972; children, William “Fred” (Michelle), Craig (Libbie), Marshall (Ann), Jamie Lynn, and Jimmy, Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. James is also survived by brothers, Charles, David and Robert Bragg and sisters, Barbara McKnight and Mary Damron and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Charles Dundorf and sisters, Macel Barker and Carol Cody.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 3 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. Funeral Service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery. In memory of James, his family suggests donations to the First Baptist Church in Birmingham, 5918 OH 60, Birmingham, Ohio 44816.
