Jerome Swaggerty, Jr., 58, of Strongsville, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights. Born October 2, 1963, in Cleveland, Jerome was a graduate of Keystone High School and had a Bachelor’s degree in teaching from Cleveland State University.
Jerome was a driver for UPS and received many awards from the company. He also traded sport cards and memorabilia, loved being outdoors, enjoyed mountain climbing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother, Donna (Baranski) Simonson; father, Jerome Swaggerty, Sr.; stepfather, Clinton Simonson; step grandmother, Frances Simonson; sister, Cherie (Jim) Holtkamp and nephew, Alec Holtkamp; brother, Clinton Simonson, Jr. and niece, Penelope Simonson, nephew, Jackson Simonson, and brother, Justin (Jennifer) Simonson and niece, Jaiden and nephew, Jayce.
Jerome was preceded in death by his grandmother, Josephine Witzke.
