Jim Chamberlain, 64, of New London, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home.
He was born on May 27, 1953 in Bowling Green, Ohio, son to the late Clyde and Marie (nee Bear) Chamberlain. Jim graduated from Vermilion High School and EHOVE Career Center in 1971. He was a farmer and hard worker.
Jim was a single dad that loved being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He liked working on cars, going to car shows and watching drag races.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy (Chastity) Chamberlain of New London and Melissa Chamberlain of North Olmsted; stepchildren, Jeff Diehl of Napoleon and Michelle Diehl of Toledo; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and brothers, Jerry Chamberlain of Naples, Florida and George Chamberlain of Las Vegas, Nevada.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sisters, Sue, Kathy, Patsy and Virginia and a nephew, Matthew Long.
