JoAnna Livermore Obituary

JoAnna L. Livermore, 51, of Norwalk, Ohio, entered into heavenly rest on August 8, 2022.  She was under the care of Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio after a lengthy battle with metastatic breast cancer.  She was born on October 13, 1970, to Tennie (Parsons) Livermore and the late Norman Livermore Jr.  and was a 1990 graduate of Western Reserve High School. 

JoAnna loved her family, and her pets, working with children, and cherished any time spent with her niece and nephew.  She enjoyed motorcycle rides, going to concerts and exploring new places. 

She was a member of the Norwalk United Methodist Church and had been involved with the “First Kids”, “Night to Shine” and Vacation Bible School.  JoAnna was a poll worker and a nurses aid.  She had also worked at Ventra in Sandusky, Maple City Rubber, and Gardner’s in the deli.

Survivors include, her mother, Tennie (Parsons) Livermore; sister, Dianna (Jason Sr.) Laughlin; nephew, Jason Laughlin Jr.; niece, Emma Laughlin; close cousins and caregivers, Michele Hale and Melissa Tackett; aunt, Virgie Hahn; and uncle, Jim Parsons. 

JoAnna was preceded in death by her father, Norman Livermore Jr. and grandparents, Norman and Doshie Livermore and Buster and Frances Parsons. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the time of the 1 p.m. service at the Norwalk United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio 44857 with Rev. Dr. Brian Oglesbee officiating.  Burial will follow in Collins Cemetery.  Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Norwalk United Methodist Church, specifically “Night to Shine”, 60 W.
