Johnathan R. Finley-Christoph

Johnathan R. Finley – Christoph, 19, of New London, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 after a sudden illness.    He was born January 28, 2001 in Sandusky, Ohio.   He has lived in the Ashland and New London areas.   Johnathan was a senior at New London High School.   He had attended Barrett’s Chapel, New London Alliance and Fitchville Baptist Churches.   Johnathan enjoyed watching wrestling and many other sports. Playing basketball, swimming, playing video games, going to school, volunteering at the Laurels Nursing Home, going to church and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his father,  Joseph Christoph, Sr.;  his brothers, Joseph (Celeste) Christoph and Travis Christoph;  his paternal grandparents, Faye and Doug Gannon, Shelly Christoph, William Christoph, Jr.;  aunts and uncles, Nancy Merrman, Richard and Ronda Wilson, Robert and Sherri Wilson, Billie Jo Christoph and Eddie Christoph.

His mother, Neva Finley; grandparents, Constance and Cotton Edwards; sisters, Adreanna and Shyann Finley;  stepsisters, Ashley Finley and Bailey Mounts.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dill Hicks, his cousin, Richard Wilson, II., and several other cousins, aunts, uncles and family.
