Joseph Grant Snyder

Joseph Grant “Joe” Snyder, 72, of Ashland, died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at University Hospital. Born on February 11, 1949 in New London, he was the son of the late Willis and Ilene (nee Parfett) Snyder. Joe grew up in the Columbus area and moved to Ashland County in the mid 90’s.

Joe served two tours in Vietnam while serving in the United States Army. He worked for the Budd Corporation for and recently as a custodian at Mapleton High School. Joe was a member of the Ashland VFW. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Browns, Indians, and OSU. Joe also enjoyed electronics and technology as well as playing video games.

Survivors include his children Joseph Cole Snyder, of Sullivan, Olivia Snyder, and Isabella Snyder, both of Mansfield; Siblings Martin “Sonny” Snyder of Delaware, Ohio, Lois Trine, of Newark, Shari Donelly and Lonna Snyder, both of Hebron, and George Snyder, of Hesperia, CA.
