Julis Hall Obituary

Julis Hall, 78, of Clarksfield, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at University Hospitals, EMH in Elyria. Born on May 22, 1942 in Fed, KY, he was the son of the late Linzie and Della (nee Bryant) Hall. Julis grew up in Kentucky before moving to Ohio in 1966.

After 37 years, Julis retired from the Sterling Foundry in Wellington. He enjoyed going squirrel hunting and sitting on his front porch with a cigar and good company. He cherished time spent with his family and friends. Few people were as passionate about old westerns as Julis.

Survivors include his loving wife Ida (nee Bryant); children, Lisa Biggins, of Norwalk, Robert Hall, and Mike Hall, both of Wakeman; sister-in-law and dear friend Marilyn Hall, of KY; dear friend Grethel Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Julis was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Tackett, Brenda Newsome, Linzie Hall Jr, Julie Keens, and Lula Osborne.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, beginning at 5 p.m. at Little Pilgrim Church, 1487 US Highway 224, Ruggles Twp. Services will begin on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church and burial will follow at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
