Katie enjoyed the arts, especially reading and creative writing. While in school, Katie worked in the hospitality industry. Her favorite place of work was Der Braumeister restaurant in Cleveland.

Katie was high-spirited, fun loving, and adventurous, with a host of friends. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who was intelligent, funny, and beautiful.
