Lillian G. Kelsey

Lillian G. Kelsey, 94, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Amherst Manor. Born February 10, 1927 in Orlando Fl, she was the daughter of the late Oron and Anna (nee Taylor) Wilcox. Lillian grew up in Rochester and was a graduate of Brighton High School. 

Lillian was active with Lorain County hot stove baseball for many years. She also enjoyed bowling and following Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cavs. For many years Lillian drove around Lorain County transporting deaf children in the area to school in Lorain. Most of all she cherished time spent with her family.  

Survivors include her children Deanna Houston, of Lorain, Edward (Carol) Kelsey Jr, of Tiro, Lawrence Kelsey, of Lorain, Kenneth (Rhonda) Kelsey, of Elyria, and Dale (Jodi) Kelsey, of Alabama; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Edward Kelsey; siblings Ireta McQuate, George “Roy” Wilcox, Lucille Hanes, Oron Wilcox II, and Ethel Miller.
