Marie Elizabeth (Schuller) Keinath King 91, died peacefully Wednesday, January 4, 2023, surrounded by her children at her home. She was born October 5, 1931, in Norwalk Ohio to Michael and Marie (Schuzter) Schuller, attended East Greenwich school. She married King C. Keinath August 7, 1948 and raised her four children. She enjoyed spending time with her family working in her lawn flower beds and gardening, collecting glass baskets as well as other antique items. She spent many hours working on their North Fairfield farm with her husband and children. She was a member of the Greenwich Church of Christ where she was baptized April 9, 1952. She was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Arie 711 and the North Fairfield Women Grange. She and her husband purchased the Greenwich Hotel and Restaurant in 1973 until 1995 and ran it where she became famous for her pie making skills.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Cynthia) Keinath of Dublin Ohio, Donna (Larry) Stanfield of Ontario, Ohio and Ronda (Terry) Copsey of Greenwich, Ohio. Grandchildren Jeanna (Brian) Weaver and Sonya (Ryan) Sebastian of Dublin, Jennifer (Robert) Rivers of New Albany, Jason Keinath of Georgia, Ben (Chanell)Kilgore of Kodak Tennessee, Zebadiah Kilgore of Columbus, Ohio, Kimberly Marett of Shelby Ohio and Terry (Abigail) Copsey of Greenwich, Ohio and 14 Great Grandchildren One Great Great Grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Marie Schuller, First Husband King Keinath, second Husband John (Art) King siblings Daniel (Red) Schuller and William Schuller, Son Dean L. Keinath.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2 to 5 p.m. with a funeral service being held on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 11 a.m.at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich, OH, with Pastor John Grimm officiating. Burial will be at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Greenwich United Methodist Church, 18 E.
