Mary Margaret Miller, 90, of Norwalk, OH, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2021, at Portland Place in Sandusky.
Mary Margaret was born on June 2, 1931, in Clyde, OH to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Gallagher) Clapp.
Mary Margaret was a 1949 graduate of Clyde High School and later attained her associate’s degree in Business Administration from Tiffin University. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker for her family. Mary Margaret was also a teacher’s aide for Norwalk Public Schools. Mary Margaret was a very active member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering in the pastoral office. She enjoyed being a part of a competitive but fun and long running bridge club. In her spare time, Mary Margaret was an avid reader, walker and sang in the church choir. Her greatest joy of all was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary Margaret is survived by her 7 children, Anne (Michael) Bickley of Milan, Mary (James) Lewellen of Sandusky, Theresa (Michael) Weisenberger of Worthington, Albert (Audrey) Miller of New York, Margaret (Dennis) Stieber of Norwalk, Christopher (Dianna) Miller of Findlay and Kevin Miller of Norwalk; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Elizabeth (Timothy) Collins.
In addition to her parents, Mary Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Miller, who passed away in 2013; grandsons, Scott Miller and Andrew Heckelman and great-granddaughter, Bailey Lewellen.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 11:00 am until the time of prayer service at 12:30 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857, before processing to St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857 for a funeral Mass to begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Norwalk.
