Melissa S. “Missy” (Lingenfelter) Baker, 43, of Norwalk, Ohio, died unexpectedly on September 16, 2022. She was born on December 29, 1978, in Tucson, AZ to Rebecca (Cassanova) Mullins and the late Donald Lingenfelter. Missy moved to Ohio at a young age and spent the majority of her life in the area.
She was a talented artist who enjoyed listening to music and truly loved being a mother. She also liked to hang out with her friends and go to movies and out to eat. Missy had been active in AA and counseling groups trying to help herself and others suffering from addiction.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Steve Baker; their son, Daemon Ray Baker; mother, Rebecca Mullins; brother, Joshua Lingenfelter; brother in-law, Scott Baker; sister in-law, Stephanie (Michael) Youngblood; nephews, Ryan, Tyler, and Luke; stepfather, Claude Mullins; and cousins, Brenda Martin, Christine Savage and Johnny Mullins.
In addition to her father, Missy was preceded in death by her mother in-law, Virginia Baker and great aunt, Sandra Good.
