Milford Clark Obituary
All who were fortunate enough to meet Milford Clark knew he possessed the "gift of gab". Milford was a very social man who enjoyed joking around. He worked hard, enjoyed hunting, gardening, and helping others in any way he could... all in a way that made you laugh. He cherished his family, friends and church family.
Milford passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. He was 75.
Born April 18, 1940 in Floyd County, Kentucky, Milford graduated from Ruggles Troy School. He was well known by many around this area. Milford was a proud member of the Little Pilgrim Home Church in Ruggles.
He drove the Nickles Bakery truck and retired from Pentair/FE Myers after over 25 years of service.
Milford is survived by his beloved wife of over 4 years, Janet (nee Bright); children, Sandra (Herb) Dwight of Clyde, Beverly Henson of Clyde, Carolyn (Danny) Shambaugh of Ashland, Dwayne (Jamie) Clark of Myrtle Beach, SC, Julie (Kris) Nickles of Loudonville, Charles (Dawn) Clark of Perrysville, Clara (Anson) Petty of Perrysville, Richard Kline and Renee (Bruce) Osborn of New Philadelphia; 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Hillard Clark, Sue Lilly, Tolva Clark, Jewel Arms, Pauline Goins, Larry Clark, Charles Clark and Linda Pauley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Clara (nee Tackett) Clark; second wife, Patricia; third wife, Phyllis; sister, Emma and daughter in law Pamela.
Milford's family will receive friends Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm at Little Pilgrim Home Church, 1487 US Route 224 East, Greenwich 44837 where a service will be held Monday at 11 am. Burial will immediately follow in Ashland County Memorial Park. A time of food and fellowship is planned following the burial. The meal will be at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, 960 Township Rd 964, Ashland, OH 44805 Contributions in Milford's memory may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, OH 44805 or to the Little Pilgrim Home Church.
