Misty Kim (nee Otto) Tackett, 40, of Willard, passed away on January 10, 2019 at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. Misty was born on June 3, 1978 to the late Harry and Carol (nee Sherman) Otto in Tiffin, Ohio. She graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1996.

Misty loved her husband, children and grandchildren. They were her life. She never met a stranger and with every greeting she had a smile on her face. She was genuine and everyone who came to know her loved her.

Misty is survived by her husband Jeremy Tackett, whom she married July 13, 2013; her children, Hugh Williams of Tiffin, Javin Williams, PFC, US Marines of Camp Pendleton, California and Sadie Williams, who will graduate from Tiffin Columbian Sentinel in 2019 and attend nursing school in August; grandchildren, Stan and Kyler Williams; brother, Louie and sisters, Billie and Ann; her mother and father in law, Bonnie and Don Tackett; numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stan.

Misty fought a five month battle with Leukemia. Her battle is over, her race is run. The gates of Heaven opened wide and the angels welcomed her in. She was loved by many and has left an empty place in many hearts. She will be truly missed.

A visitation will be held at Ripley Chapel, 4230 Old State Rd, Willard, from 2 to 8 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2019 where a service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Ricky Branham officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich, Ohio 44837.
