Nancy E. (Kane) Mowry

Nancy E. Mowry, 76, of Norwalk, Ohio, died on August 25, 2023. She was born on July 14, 1947, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Lois J. (Freisner) and Donald Kane and graduated from Lancaster High School. She moved to Norwalk in 1977.

Nancy worked for New Horizons Bakery from 1987-1991, Don Mowry Flexo Inc. and Wal-Mart for many years. Most recently, she volunteered at the Norwalk Clothing Bank.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, trips to Kelly’s Island, and time with family and friends, especially her great grandson, Hunter.

She is survived by her children, Krist (Janet) Bussart, Katrina (Al) Dickman, Kelly (Frances) Bussart, Kimberly Bussart, Jody (Greg) Brooks, Margaret (Doug) Hardy, Donald (Susan) Mowry, and Danny (Joann) Mowry; grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany), Drew (Kayleigh), Emily, Christopher, Jason, David, Tara, Megan (Oliver), Billy (Cassie), Donny, Kayle, Amanda, and Kyle; and great grandson, Hunter.

In addition to her birthparents, she was also preceded in death by her father, Richard Chilcote; husband, Donald Mowry; sister, Brenda Flynn; daughter, Cindy (Ronald) Grover; grandson, Brent Marett; and granddaughter, Kadi Bergstedt.
