Pamela Minnich Obituary

Pamela Minnich, a lifelong Wellington resident, died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Mercy Allen Medical Center.  A daughter of the late Alex and Joyce Horvath, Pam was born January 26, 1955 in Oberlin. She was a 1973 graduate of Wellington High School and Lorain County JVS. In 1976 Pam married the love of her life, John Minnich.

Pam managed Puffers Flowers in Oberlin for many years. She also worked at Westwood Elementary School, took tickets at the Norwalk Raceway, and most recently worked at Dairy Queen until retiring a few years ago.  Pam was very artistic and enjoyed crafting, arranging flowers, painting and making cakes with her sister. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and taking family trips to the casinos and wineries. Family was always first for Pam, and she cherished being a part of their lives. Holidays were always important as was time with her grandchildren or her sister.

Pam fiercely loved her family. She is survived by her daughters, Angelique (Timothy) Gallion, of Wellington and Monique (Michael) Carroll, of Olmsted Falls; granddaughters, Mallory, Alexa and Shelby and her sister Heather (Russ) Simmons, of Wellington; mother-in-law Mary Minnich; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Pam was preceded in death by her husband John in 2009.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, September 21, 2020, from 4-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington, beginning at 1 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be given at: www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
