Patricia Hejny Obituary
Patricia Ann Hejny, 82, of Spencer died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on October 31, 1933 in Cleveland, she was the only child of Joseph and Bessie (nee Husak) Sistek. Patricia graduated from St. Peter Catholic School in Mansfield and has been a resident of Spencer for the past 30 years.
After the death of her husband and with several children at home, Patricia decided to put herself through nursing school. She became an LPN and worked for many years at Metro Health Hospital. Patricia was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington and an avid reader.
Patricia is survived by her children Betsy Csiszar of Cleveland, Kim Stewart and Richard (Dee) Hejny both of Spencer, Benjamin Hejny of Cleveland, Jonathan (Lacey) Hejny, Joseph Hejny, and Paul (Marlene) Hejny all of Spencer; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Nicholas and son-in-law Steven Stewart.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, April 22, from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington, 44090. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 512 North Main, Wellington beginning at 10 a.m. with Rev. Trask officiating, burial will follow at Spencer Cemetery.
