Patricia Louise (Sutter) Mitchell

Patricia Louise Mitchell, 84 of Shenandoah, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 to join her beloved husband, so they can spend their eternal lives together. She was born on July 25, 1937 in Willard, Ohio to the late Martha Louise (Young) and Gail Marcellus Sutter. On July 13, 1953 she married the love of her life, Robert Ervin Mitchell.   

She was a homemaker and worked for Crestview High School for many years. She loved her job and was “mom” to many of the kids. Patricia enjoyed cooking for and feeding the kids. She said her favorite time of the day was talking to all the students. She also enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and entertaining people with her cooking and talking talents. She was an avid baker and was the official biscuit baker for monthly breakfast at the Shenandoah Church, where she was a faithful member.   

Patricia is survived by her children, Judy Lynn (Rick) Rhodes of Mansfield, Linda Sue Tabor of Shelby, Patti Arlene (Drexel) Thomas of Mansfield, Jeffrey Ervin (Kim) Mitchell of Ganges; son-in-law, Max Garcia; 12 grandchildren, Jamie, Denise, Lamarr, Aaron, Tina, Tammy, Tony, Tiffany, Merry, Annie, Christina, Amanda; 29 great-grandchildren, Meagan, Michael, Mason, Abby, Ethan, Brandi, Emma, Adalynn, Clayton, Sherrie, Shellie, Steve, Scott, Lexy, Alex, Adam, Araianna, Cynthia, Candace, Charlie, Carter, Catrina, Sara, Riley, Calum, Isabella, Avi, Jordyn, Noah; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Hadleigh, Ri-Khi, Ayvianna, Layliana; brothers, Richard Sutter, and James Sutter; special niece, Chrissy Kanz and her son, Austin; and many other beloved nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Ervin Mitchell; daughter, Kathy Louise Garcia; grandsons, Jesse Paul Tabor and Wylie Franklin Tabor; son-in-law, Dan Edgle Tabor; daughter-in-law, Cindy (Warner) Mitchell; and siblings, Jeannette Ross and Robert Sutter.    

Her family will hold a graveside service on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shenandoah Cemetery 5642 SR 13 N, Shiloh, OH 44878. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting eastmanfuneralhome.com
