Ronald Otto Kromer, 78, of Norwalk, died unexpectedly on January 23, 2021 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. He was born on June 23, 1942 in Norwalk to the late Otto and Donna Bell (Wade) Kromer and graduated in 1961 from Milan High School.
Ron was a wonderful husband, father, brother, husband, and grandfather. He was not just a mechanic, but rather and man who relished opportunities to help others and could fix pretty much everything. He loved motorhomes and traveling with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann (Stower) Kromer of Milan; son, Brett (Jill) Kromer of Sandusky; brother, Wayne Kromer of Tiffin; sister, Rebecca Kromer of Waverly, NY; grandchildren, Alex and Skylar and great grandson, Cohen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David, Glenn “Fritz” and Paul.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, Norwalk is entrusted with Ron’s care and arrangements.
